Christine grew up in Ridgetown and had her first job working with children in a local daycare, while she was in high school. When she graduated, she went to college for Early Childhood Education. Wanting to be able to do more to help the youth in her community, she went back to school in 2011 and received her Child and Youth Worker Diploma. Currently, she is enrolled at the University of Guelph Humber, to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies and will then be obtaining her Bachelor of Education and teach grades K-6.

As an ECE/CYW she has worked in a variety of settings. She has experience working in childcare centers, schools, group homes as well as one on one with children providing respite support. She was hired by The Lambton Kent District School Board as an Educational Assistant in 2018 and has supported several different academic needs as well as physical and behavioural needs.

Her passion is helping children succeed and giving them a safe space to learn and grow.
