Janine has a 4-year undergrad degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University and has also played on the varsity basketball and lacrosse teams at York. She received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario.

 

With 18 years in the teaching profession, Janine has her teaching specialist in Physical Education and has taught courses in Grades 9-10 Science, 9-12 Physical Education, Grades 10-12 Personal Fitness and Grade 11 Leadership.

 

Currently, Janine is Health & Phys. Ed Curriculum Leader and Student Success Team Lead at Wallaceburg District Secondary School. She has also taught Summer School on Walpole Island for the past 7 years. Janine has taught the Additional Qualification Phys. Ed. course at the University of Windsor for the past 8 years.

 

Janine enjoys teaching and being a specialized educational support worker because she likes to see students achieve something after putting the hard work in.
