Jordan Day, CYW

Specialized One on One Support Worker, Counsellor

Jordan was born and raised in Sarnia, and is a band member of Aamjiwnaang First Nation. During his teen years, Jordan moved to Thunder Bay where he completed his high school education. Jordan subsequently enrolled and graduated from Confederation College with a Child and Youth Worker Diploma in 2011. In 2017, Jordan moved back to his hometown area where he uses his knowledge, experience and skills to guide youth to success in a school-based setting as well as working individually with clients of PACE Inc. 

 

Jordan is currently employed full-time at Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig as a Child and Youth Worker since 2017. For over 10 years, Jordan has acquired much experience in a variety of settings, working with First Nations families and youth, with a focus on mental health and well-being, as well as helping youth embrace their strengths and visions to empower their own futures.

 

In his spare time, Jordan enjoys photography, building gaming PC's and repairing vehicles.
