Ky Nahmabin, CYW, CYC, cert.



Ky grew up on Walpole Island and is a proud band member of Bkejwanong First Nation. She enrolled in the CYW program at Lambton College, with the goal of one day being able to support the youth from her home community. In 2017, she graduated from Lambton College with an advanced diploma in the Child and Youth Worker Program and immediately jumped into the field. She soon found her passion for working with 2SLGBTQ+ youth. Ky is very knowledgeable with regards to gender, diversity, and inclusion. She’s been an avid guest speaker at local 2SLGBTQ+ events and has facilitated Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion training to various organizations.

As a certified Child and Youth Worker, Ky has gained a variety of experience and has worked in various settings. She is very open minded, kind, understanding and takes great pride in the work that she does. Ky is always interested in learning new skills and looking for ways to further her education as CYW.
