Critical Incident Stress Management and Trauma Debriefing

Page Title

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is a short-term, adaptive psychological process that addresses immediate and identifiable challenges. It covers the full spectrum of support, from pre-incident preparedness and acute crisis intervention to post-crisis follow-up.

P.A.C.E. Inc. has trained staff who can guide your team through the CISM process, helping to reduce stress, support coping, and restore organizational functioning after critical incidents.

Our trauma debriefing sessions provide a structured and safe space for individuals to process a traumatic event. A P.A.C.E. Inc. team member facilitates the session, enabling participants to re-experience the incident in a controlled environment to better understand and reconcile the experience. These sessions are non-judgmental and supportive, allowing participants to share initial reactions and emotions while promoting recovery and resilience.
